I bought the Radster (regular size) last month and have ridden about 500 miles. I live in a city with several hills and find the bike’s torque excellent. This is a perfect bike for me and am looking forward to a fun summer of cycling. I enjoy your videos, thanks for sharing.

On my current e-bike I can only get about 16 miles pas 2 conserving battery mostly pedaling and it sucks my e-bike is a 48V 10AH system. I have the Hurley mini swell

I’m 65 and have an Aventon Soltera.2 ($1199). Only weighs 46 pounds, only goes 20 mph max, but it’s perfect for trail riding, which is all I do since I don’t feel safe around cars.

Another big question, Could a bicycle dynamo be used to charge the E-BIKE battery while riding so as to go further distances

That's a really cool looking cargo ebike Russ. It's got a lot of power and torque, just wished you could unlock it to Class 3 and go faster than 20 mph. I wonder if Mooncool will provide you some front and rear baskets to complete the look. Love the radiant orange color makes you very visible on the road.

Look likes the Lectric Cargo Bike. Looks like all these E-bikes are made in the same Factory and they slap on different labels.

Looks like a nice bike. I wonder if they are going to start bringing over European style cargo bikes with the big bin up front. Those can really carry a lot of stuff. The hill test was impressive, the bike could clearly go a lot faster than 20 mph if it weren’t limited. Is there a way to unlock it?

I love the looks of that Mooncool cargo bike. The color is sort of coral. Ha you said vibrant and that is what the name is. The price is excellent and with your discount, wow. Those tires are cool. Does it have a huge basket like that other bike has? There sure are some nice features, turn signal, horn and integrated tail light.

Russ that Mooncool cargo bike may be a fantastic fit for a person in the city making food deliveries for Door-dash, Grub-hub & Uber foods. It’s got an extra long cargo rack making it ideal for food parcels. The bright 🍊orange color makes it much easier for both pedestrians and motorists to see you. Of course you’d likely buy an extra batter or pedal more to preserve power ⚡️. Curious, with a full aluminum rigid frame and all…what’s the maximum weight capacity?

I see a future shopping trip with Mrs Right to showcase the carrying ability of this bike, now that you eat less, you can get a whole week of groceries on that bike. BTW have you tried the Boston lettuce sold at Costco, grown in Tennessee? A 3 pack. Been eating lots of it and spinach, I will be turning green within a few months.

I'm considering getting one of these or the Lectric XP 3.0. I have an Aventon Aventure as my first ebike and it's great for riding around the city. My old car used to be able to carry my Aventure around with no problems, but since I got a different car, I can't carry my Aventure around as I used to. A smaller bike like the Engwe would be perfect as it can fit in the back seat of my car. That will allow me to go trail riding and not be restricted to the area in which I live.

Hey Russ. If your rotor isn't warped or damaged try centering the caliper. Simply loosen the caliper bolts and mash down and hold the brake and retighten the bolts. Now you know the pads will contact the rotor evenly. Takes just a few minutes and it might help. RIDE ON!

Im only 26 but at 270lbs, ebikes help me get that little bit of assistace to go up hills and go farther.

Bicycles, ebikes, electric cargo bicycles, robo taxis and escooters are great options for last mile, short distance travel. Reduced transportation costs and fossil fuels free transportation. Cities need to do more to encourage people to ride bicycles by providing SAFE, PROTECTED BIKE LANES and trails. Every adult and child should own a bicycle and ride it regularly. Bicycles are healthy exercise and fossil fuels free transportation. Electric bicycles are bringing many older adults back to cycling. Ride to work, ride to school, ride for health or ride for fun. Children should be able to ride a bicycle to school without having to dodge cars and trucks. Separated and protected bike lanes are required. It will also make the roads safer for automobile drivers. Transportation planners and elected officials need to encourage people to walk, bike and take public transportation. Healthy exercise and fossil fuels free transportation. In the future cities will be redesigned for people not cars. Crazy big parking lots will be transformed with solar canopies generating free energy from the sun.

Mobility matters. Bicycles matter. Electric busses matter. Electric trains matter. Safe protected bike and bus lanes are necessary for efficient transport. Children should be able to ride bicycles or take a bus to school safely. Cities need to provide multiple options for transportation. Less cars, more buses, more bicycles. Staying active is key. There is a climate crisis. We need to make walking, cycling, using escooters and taking a bus easier and the default option for most people. Ebikes are brinigng many older adults back to cycling and the benefits of exercise.

It’s pretty cool. I know the pandemic really hurt trade shows like these, looks pretty well attended from both the vendor and public side, so it’s good to see that coming back. I used to like to go to the vacation and boat show at the fairgrounds where I grew up. I never bought anything of significance from it (I think I bought some fishing stuff a couple times, but nothing big), but it was always interesting to see what was out there. There’s a lot of stuff to help people with significant mobility issues, and that’s cool. Coming at it from the outside some of the prices make my eyes water, but I guess it has to very rugged and completely dependable since people are putting their full safety in the hands of the device.

I’m 75, I’ve been riding a bicycle 15 miles a day for over 20 years, no I’m not one of those guys in the colorful outfits who go zooming by in groups doing 20 mph. I live on the Jersey shore and ride up and down the streets along the ocean, I try to keep it at abut 12-14 mph but I’m not in a rush! I have a standard Trek 27 speed road bike. The wind at the shore is very powerful and can have a big influence on your riding, sometimes like today at 15 mph it can make it very difficult to ride a regular bike at all. Two years ago my wife bought me an Aventon 500 e-bike for my birthday. At first like you I thought you cant get any real exercise using it and ignored it, but then I tried using it of the days I couldn’t ride outside because of strong wind ( normally I’d be stuck inside on a stationary bike) so that was one advantage, next like any exercise machine you only get back what you put into it, because of its weight of 75 lbs your pedaling a lot more even with the assist and if you leave it a 1 for power assist you doing a fair amount of work, either way I’m still getting exercise for over an hour that I might be missing! So overall it’s a win!

my fingers are crossed for the ebike tax incentive/rebate (33% rebates in some cases). Some states and local governments already have them. Hopefully we can get this passed at the federal level.

I've been watching some Amsterdam biking videos and often you'll see people on a scooter going 15 - 20 MPH and keeping up with a bikers.

I thought that mobility trike was pretty cool. Some of those are like those monster cars, pretty pricey too. Thanks for taking us along 👍

Have you tried the Lectric folding? I’ll have to search….. or do you have thoughts on it. I’m interested in the assist but not necessarily the full-assist (meaning: I’m also looking for workout & cycling comfort with the pedaling, etc)

Do you think any of the mobility scooter companies would send out review/influencer products?

I am thinking of buying the newer version that you are showing in this video. I have to wonder how the power compares.
